It is said that to take birth as a human being is very very rare. There are 840,000 species of life and in that taking birth as a human being that too without any physical / mental challenges is very fortunate. In fact if a person has good food to eat, proper clothes to wear, a roof overhead and a place to sleep then he is richer than 50% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 15% of the world's wealthy.
When we have all these good fortune whom are we supposed to thank for this... Yes it is by the mercy of the Lord we live every moment of our life and it is by His mercy we get all the needs and comforts of our life. It is our due responsibility to thank him for providing these comforts, facilities and all the basic needs.
It is imperative for us to be grateful towards the Lord and we from ISKCON Kanpur provide many opportunities for you take part in the Lord's service.
Over here in Kanpur we are trying serve Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Madhava and Srila Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada wanted a very big project to come up in Kanpur as he considered this as an important place to spread Krishna Consciousness. To fulfill the dream of Srila Prabhupada we the devotee of ISKCON Kanpur are working together to come up with a dream project in the land given to ISKCON in Mainwati marg.
We would need your ernest support in this cause to make this dream come true and in turn this is an opportunity for you all to say "Thank you" to the Lord for whatever he has given to you.
