One who offers the Deity gifts of land, material, cities and village so that the regular daily worship and special festivals of the Deity may go on continually will achieve opulence equal to My own. (SB 11.27.51)

It is said that to take birth as a human being is very, very rare. There are 84,00,000 species of life and to take birth as a human being and that too without any physical or mental challenges, is very fortunate. In fact, if a person has good food to eat, proper clothes to wear, a roof overhead and a place to sleep, then he is richer than 50% of the people of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 15% of the world\'s wealthy.
When we have all these good fortune whom are we supposed to thank for this...? Yes, it is by the mercy of the Lord that we live every moment of our life and it is by His mercy we get all the needs and comforts of our life. It is our due responsibility to thank him for providing these comforts, facilities and all the basic needs.
It is imperative for us to be grateful towards the Lord and we, from ISKCON Kanpur, provide many opportunities for you take part in the Lord\'s service.
Over here in Kanpur we are trying to serve Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Madhava and Srila Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada wanted a very big project to come up in Kanpur as he considered this an important place to spread Krishna consciousness. To fulfill the dream of Srila Prabhupada we, the devotees of ISKCON Kanpur, are working together to come up with a dream project on the land given to ISKCON at Mainwati Marg.
